Lindsay Lohan ducks jail, gets rebab renewed

[HMG Celebrity News] – In further proof the justice system in Hollywood is in dire need of a reboot, Lindsay Lohan has avoided a jail sentence again, and been sentenced to rehab for her recent probation infraction.
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Elden S. Fox ordered that the 24-year old addict must now remain at the Betty Ford Center until January 3rd, then report back to court on February 25.
Sources say Lohan cried happy tears after hearing the sentence.
In her fifth court appearance in only five months, Lohan was facing a possible sentence of 30-days for each drug test she’d avoided or failed. But Fox opted for rehab after reading reports by probation officers and a letter from Lohan herself.
But he cautioned the faded starlet she would face jail if another relapse occurred.
This is the same judge who canceled Lohan’s probation on September 24 and sent her back to jail. She was free on bail the same day, and has since been in voluntary rehab at the Betty Ford clinic.
This whole legal mess stems from her arrest on August 23, 2007 for drug use and DUI, She pleaded guilty to using cocaine and driving while drunk and was sentenced to one day in jail, and ten days of community service.
And they wonder why she doesn’t change.
Back in September Fox laid out a 60-day schedule of counseling sessions, meetings with probation officers and random drug screenings that would end her probation if she complied.
In less than three weeks, Lohan failed a drug test. She later acknowledged this on Twitter, but claimed she was ’struggling’ with addiction.
And so it goes on.

Kate Gosselin Smeared in L & S ‘Nanny Quits’ Story?

(HMG Celebrity News) – Apparently I am not the only one that thinks Kate Gosselin is a totally self absorbed witch and or the word that rhymes with it.   Life & Style is clearly not a fan either, claiming that one of Kate’s nannies, Ariel Cantara, recently quit because of Gosselin’s unreasonable demands and in the process of telling that story the magazine gets in a lot of pretty cheap shots.  Sprinkled among the claims is that Kate is a slave driver i.e. she expects her nannies to work whenever she needs them up to 24 hours, and they must sleep overnight when needed and join the Gosselins on vacation.  Kate is also allegedly a neat and control freak, and has gone through about 11 nannies and tons of helpers in the past few years because she rides them so hard.
The accusations are bracketed by snarky comments like Kate might be forced to actually parent her eight kids now and suggesting that she “could save some money by being a more hands-on mom… but that, of course, would interfere with her salon appointments and bid to make it in Hollywood.”
The article then concludes “Kate is unavailable to her children,” and according to L & S’s insider. “She never plays with them anymore and is constantly busy with her personal affairs. That’s why she always needs a nanny!”
As I said I am totally turned off by Kate, because of what I saw of her interactions with her children and her former hen pecked husband on her show, not to mention her diva behavior on Dancing With The Stars.  But I also think when you have that many kids, you’re never be able to give each one enough attention and suggesting that the single mother only needs a nanny because she is too busy with her personal affairs is totally ridiculous.

Russell Brand and Katy Perry Get Married in Elaborate Indian Ceremony

(HMG Celebrity News) – Russell Brand and Katy Perry got married Saturday in a traditional Indian ceremony, in front of 80 or so guests at the luxury Aman-i-Khas resort near the Ranthambhore tiger sanctuary in Rajasthan. The two exchanged vows at the same spot where Brand, 35, proposed to Perry – who turns 26 Monday – over New Years eve.  Camels, elephants and horses were reportedly planned as part of the wedding procession from Sher Bagh, another nearby luxury resort, to the Aman-e-Khas. The procession according to an Us Weekly report would have Brand riding into the ceremony on an elephant accompanied by traditional Indian dancers and musicians. Katy’s bridal wardrobe reportedly included items from Zuhair Murad and Donna Mizani. Early birthday to Katy, and congrats to the happy couple!!

Celine Dion Gives Birth to Twins

(HMG Celebrity News) – Celine Dion, 42, has given birth to twin boys, and mother and babies are all doing well.  The fraternal twin boys who haven’t been named yet, weighed in at 5 lbs., 4 oz., and 5 lbs., 10 oz.,  and while healthy, they will spend the next few days in an incubator because they were born premature. The boys join their 9-year-old brother Rene-Charles, who has already been to the hospital to see them, along with dad, Rene Angelil. The twin boys, who were due in November, were reportedly the result of a sixth in-vitro fertilization attempt.

Matt Damon and wife Luciana are proud parents of baby girl number 4

(HMG Celebrity News) – Congratulations to Matt Damon and wife Luciana, who are the proud parents of another baby girl.
Luciana, 35, delivered baby Stella Zavala Damon, who will soon join sisters Isabella, 4, and Gia, 2, as well as Luciana’s daughter Alexa, 11, from a previous marriage, at home.  Damon, who turned 40 earlier this month, and Luciana wed in 2005.
“Mom and baby are both healthy,” Damon’s rep tells People. “The whole family is thrilled.”
Matt revealed his wife was due to give birth earlier this month on The Late Show
with David Letterman, where he was asked whether he minded being surrounded by girls:
‘Its great, I grew up with a brother so it’s a whole different world,’ he said.
‘There’s a lot of princess outfits, not for me though.
And with now three little girls under 5 years old running around the Damon house, there is going to be princess outfits around for a longtime to come.

Kat Von D Wants to Rewrite Recent Past Romances By Cutting Them Out of Show?

(HMG Celebrity News) – She already has gotten way more attention then she deserves, but I am fascinated at the predicament Kat Von D, now finds herself in with her recent public romances (or as others say, as she screws her way up the social ladder).  Having allegedly gotten dumped by Sandra Bullock’s ex, Jesse James and now reportedly  jumping back to ex-boyfriend Nikki Sixx has made a mess of the filming for the next season of her show.  As we previously reported Kat allegedly threatened the bosses of LA Ink with lawsuits over scenes that shows her hating on Nikki.  Kat shot the scenes several months ago, just after she and Nikki had split. She was already dating Jesse,, and she was clearly worried about her comments on Nikki, and ‘freaked out’ and ‘went ballistic’ on producers earlier this week over the scenes, She demanded they cut them, along with others where she talks about a “Nikki vs. Jesse” game – or she’d file a lawsuit and stop the show cold.  Now it appears she is doubly screwed because Kat has again gone nuclear over the way ex-boyfriend Jesse James was portrayed in upcoming episodes that Kat recently screened.  Kat according to TMZ, has decided that she no longer wants any traces of Jesse on the show and demanded that producers pull him from all future episodes.  One of those wash that man right out of my hair scenarios, that’s not really supposed to happen in a reality show.  But supposedly producers are complying and desperately trying to rip Jesse from the show, but there’s so much content to remove, they’re worried they may to pack the show with extra commercials to fill out the time before the first show airs Wednesday night.  If true so much for reality, when you totally edit out big parts of your life, and trying to rewrite history, especially idiotic and hypocritical after she went public with the relationship and was gushing about how in love she was with Jesse.

Halle Berry and Oliver Martinez go public with romance

(HMG Celebrity Gossip) – It’s not like their romance is any big secret anymore, but Halle Berry and her new boyfriend, French actor Olivier Martinez, stepped out for the 32nd Annual Carousel Of Hope Ball at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills Saturday night. The ball benefits The Barbara Davis Center for Childhood Diabetes. Oliver and Halle mingled with other stars including Jennifer Lopez and husband Marc Anthony, who later performed a duet on stage.
The happy duo originally met on the set of their new movie Dark Tide earlier this year and it blossomed into a romance soon after.  They were first spotted in Paris, France as a couple and now seem inseparable, coming to LA this week looking in love wherever they turn up, which of late, has been all over West Hollywood, CA.
Recent reports claim Halle, who recently split from model Gabriel Aubry after nearly five years together, introduced Olivier to her mom.
