Katy Perry and Russell Brand make first public appearance since getting married

Aww, Katy Perry and Russell Brand are just SO loved-up – look at how cute they are.

The newlyweds walked the red carpet at tonight’s MTV EMAs (that’s Europe Music Awards) in Madrid, and they both had giddy, love struck grins on their faces. Cute.

Russell wore a typical if slightly toned down outfit – it looks like the crazy bird’s nest hair and beard aren’t coming back. Meanwhile Katy went for something a little more quirky. A red carpet event usually means an excuse to bust out something full length and fabulous, but Katy being the quirky type of girl decided to dress up in a cinema ticket dress.  It’s a fun frock, but it doesn’t exactly show off Katy’s firecracker figure to the best advantage, and as we now know since being with Russell, Katy’s been feeling more confident about her body than ever.

The happily married star also performed at the event, singing her new singleFirework, pouring her amazing curves into flaming sequin cat-suit. Have a look and a listen and tell us if you think Katy’s performance in Madrid was better than her performance on The X Factor a few weeks ago.

Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson: Rio de Janeiro Workers

Situated overseas for work duties, Robert Pattinson was spotted rehearsing a scene for "Breaking Dawn" in Rio de Janeiro on Sunday (November 7).
The Edward Cullen stud joined cast and crew members as he was joined by a Bella Swan double as he readied to shoot the day's scenes before later teaming up with co-star girlfriend Kristen Stewart.

In related news, recent reports tell that Rob recently turned down a $2 million offer to be the face of ­Burberry.
A source told the Sunday Mirror, “Head designer Christopher Bailey and the Burberry team were desperate to sign Robert as the main person in their new campaign. It would grace all their stores worldwide and be in all the best ­publications. They went to ­Robert but he ­immediately, politely, turned them down."
The insider added, “As far as Robert sees things he’s an actor by trade and that’s his art. He doesn’t want to start becoming a brand or anything. Burberry really hoped Robert would do it. They know he wears Burberry occasionally and he’s met Christopher and the team before. They only wanted him. Robert’s look would have been perfect so they’re back to square one.”

Karina Smirnoff and Brad Penny: Engaged!

Forget a penny for her thoughts. Karina Smirnoff officially has a Penny for life.
The Dancing with the Stars professional has agreed to marry pitcher Brad Penny, who proposed to the waltzing beauty on October 4.
"We kept it quiet because my family is in New York and Brad's family is in Oklahoma so we kind of wanted them to come out and celebrate and be a family first before we let the cat out of the bag," Smirnoff said.

Karina, who has famously dated Mario Lopez and Maksim Chmerkovskiy, describes Penny as a "southern gentleman." He shocked her with his proposal at a restaurant in Los Angels following a DWTS taping this season. The pair met through a mutual friend, UFC fighter Chuck Liddell.

Penny has a career 4.11 ERA and last pitched for the St. Louis Cardinals.

Rihanna Rocks Out with Bon Jovi

At a concert in Madrid last night, Bon Jovi broke out its classic single "Livin on a Prayer." The crowd was going ballistic enough over it when a special guest appeared on stage alongside the lead singer: Rihanna!

Lily Allen: Hospitalized with Blood Condition

Lily Allen really can't catch a break.
Just days after suffering her second miscarriage, the singer was rushed to the hospital on Friday for a blood condition called septicemia. With symptoms that include a fever, chills and rapid breathing, this ailment involves bacteria in the blood that can cause severe infections.

Says a rep for the artist:

"She is responding well to treatment and her condition continues to improve. Lily thanks everyone for their messages of support and again asks that she and partner Sam Cooper be left alone whilst she recovers."

Brooke Mueller: Working Out, Moving On

While Charlie Sheen deals with accusations of cocaine use and purse ransacking, his ex-wife is just trying to move on from this unstable actor.
Says Moire Fiore, the mother of Brooke Mueller, who officially divorced Sheen last week:
"Brooke wakes up in the morning and works out. [She is] feeling positive about staying in the best physical shape for her twin sons, Max and Bob."

The children are doing well, Fiore says, telling People magazine about their Halloween costumes:

"She dressed them up as crayons and took them trick or treating in Los Angeles. They looked adorable."

According to divorce documents, the ex-couple's 19-month-old boys will live primarily with Mueller, while Sheen will be granted generous visitation rights.

Her mother also confirmed that Mueller really will be shooting a reality show for the Oxygen Network later this month with Paris Hilton.

"Brooke looks forward to the new TV show and knows how important it is to stay strong for the boys," Fiore says. "She is doing phenomenally well."

Kellan Lutz Loves the Twihards!

Asked by YRB magazine about the contingent of supporters known as Twihards, the hunky actor replied:
